David has been involved in emergency services since 1995. He is currently the Chief of the Derby Fire Department and a Lieutenant in the Bridgeport, Ct Fire Department assigned as a shift Safety Officer. Previously, he was the Chief of the Storm Engine Company Ambulance & Rescue Corps. David earned his Associates’s Degree in Science from Charter Oak State College and is a Connecticut certified Fire Officer, Fire Marshal, and Fire Service Instructor. Also, he is a certified IAFF Fireground Survival Instructor. His assignments have included Fire Boat Operator, Search & Rescue K-9 Handler, Haz Mat Technician, and was assigned to Bridgeport’s heavy rescue company before his promotion.
