Dr. Christina Agvent is a leader in the field of adult learning and development and specializes in online learning and educational technology. An educational professional of over 30 years, Dr. Agvent has had the opportunity to work with learners of all ages on a global scale and has been both a teacher and administrator. Her current research focuses on the impact of community relationships as they relate to fostering or inhibiting the growth of resilience and she has been published in both educational and trade journals. Dr. Agvent has been educating adults and managing academic programs in higher education for over 12 years, and currently is the Program Director of the MS of Teaching and Learning and Educational Leadership programs for a large online university in Colorado. Dr. Agvent is the Founder of Trifecta Education, LLC (Trifectaeducation.com) and serves as an educational consultant and instructional designer for organizations that wish to elevate their learning and development experiences. She has created an online dual-enrollment high school as well as a comprehensive special education transition program for learners in CT. She is currently working with Pleiadian Systems, Inc. assisting with the design and development of VR education scenarios for first responders. Dr. Agvent lives in CT with her teens and proudly comes from a family of firefighters, police officers, and service men and women.
